- Refund for First 25-Minute Lesson
2.1 Refund Eligibility: We understand that the initial tutoring experience is crucial, and we want to ensure your satisfaction. Therefore, we offer a full refund for the first 25-minute lesson for each student. This refund is applicable only once per student.
2.2 Automatic Refund: In most cases, the refund for the first 25-minute lesson will be processed automatically. After the completion of the lesson, the refund will be issued to the original payment method used during the booking process. Please check your email to verify the refund process.
2.3 Non-receipt of Automatic Refund: If, for any reason, you do not receive the automatic refund for the first 25-minute lesson within a reasonable timeframe, please contact our customer support team. You can send an email to info@linguafoundation.com notifying us of the issue, and we will promptly investigate and process the refund manually.
- Refund Policy: Multiple Trial Lessons and Payment Obligations
In the case of individuals enrolling for more than one trial lesson, please note the following terms regarding invoicing and payment:
3.1 Invoicing for Additional Lessons: Following the initial complimentary trial session, participants who choose to continue with subsequent lessons will receive an invoice for each following lesson.
3.2 Payment Obligation: It is essential that all invoices for additional lessons are settled within the specified timeframe. Failure to fulfill payment obligations promptly may result in a suspension of lesson access.
3.3 Lesson Access: Participants who do not comply with payment requirements and accumulate outstanding balances may face potential restrictions, including denial of access to further lessons until payment is resolved.
- Cancellation and Refunds for Lessons
4.1 Full Refund for Lessons Cancelled 24 Hours or More in Advance: If you need to cancel an online tutoring lesson and provide a notice of cancellation 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled start time, you will be eligible for a full refund of the lesson fee.
4.2 Partial Refund for Lessons Cancelled Less Than 24 Hours in Advance: If you cancel an online tutoring lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time, you will receive a partial refund. Partial refunds will be the total amount paid for the lesson minus $2. For example, if you purchased a 1-on-1 25 min lesson for $10 you will receive a partial refund of $8.
4.3 Partial Refund for Lesson Time Switch: If you need to switch the time of a scheduled online tutoring lesson, you may be eligible for a partial refund. The refund amount will follow the same guidelines as seen above. Please ensure that any lesson time switch requests are made within the same 24-hour period as the initial booking to maintain partial refund eligibility.
4.4 No Refund for Lessons Cancelled 4 Hours or Less in Advance: If you cancel an online tutoring lesson within four (4) hours of the scheduled start time or fail to attend the lesson without prior notification, you will not be eligible for a refund. This policy is in place to compensate our tutors for their time and ensure the smooth operation of our scheduling system.
- Tutor No-Show and Student Absence
5.1 Tutor No-Show: We understand the importance of punctuality and the commitment of our tutors. If, for any reason, the tutor fails to show up for a scheduled online tutoring lesson, you will be entitled to a full refund of the lesson fee. We will also take appropriate measures to address the issue and ensure a more reliable experience for future lessons.
5.2 Student Absence: If you fail to attend a scheduled online tutoring lesson without prior notification or valid reason, you will not be eligible for a full refund. The tutor dedicates their time and resources for the lesson, and your absence impacts their availability to serve other students. In such cases, a refund will not be provided, and the lesson fee will be retained to compensate the tutor for their time and commitment.
